Company: Joseph Joseph
Role: Research, UX & UI
Year: 2019 - 2020
Project: Distribution and wholesale has taken the forefront of the business. The active direct to consumer website has seen slow growth and over time the design and usability has become dated.

Joseph Joseph is a luxury home and kitchenware brand, each of their products is designed intelligently to solve problems in the home. We wanted to embody the same design thinking behind our products within the redesign, which would see us migrate from Magento to Shopify.
I conducted thorough research into our customer, their behaviours, habits and frustrations to highlight the problematic areas we needed to solve. I also generated up-to-date customer profiles, which we referenced back to at each design stage.
Introducing a new typeface, adding white space to compliment rich photography made sure the on and offline experience of the brand were once again cohesive.
A smart search API, mobile-friendly filters, back-in-stock notifications and bespoke elements like shop-by-image, solved key frustrations for our users, as well as reducing site speed and steps to conversion.
